Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that animal problems can cause stress and concern! We are here to help. Below are some frequently asked questions. Don't see the answer to your question below? Feel free to give us a call at 1-888-SKUNKS-2

Q: What areas do you serve?

A: We are licensed experts, providing wildlife control for New Jersey’s Skyland Region: Hunterdon County, Somerset County, Warren County, Morris County, and Sussex County. Click here to see our wildlife qualifications.

Q: What can I expect when I call Wildlife Control Specialists?

A: We will discuss your problem over the phone to determine if we can help. If so, we'll set up an appointment for an inspection, which costs $99. From there, we will asses your situation and provide a detailed overview of our recommended services, including the cost to you.

Q: How do you catch the animals?

A: Our techniques vary for each animal, but we typically use traps. Traps are checked every day, to ensure animals are dealt with in a timely manner. Our traps are human and safe.

Q: What if the animal is already dead?

A: We provide carcass clean up services. We are trained to safely remove animal remains and clean the area to eliminate the threat posed by disease and decay.

Q: Are you affiliated with the state or my local municipality?

A: No, we are a private company and we charge for our services. Your town or county provides services for domestic animals via your local animal control office. But most municipalities view wildlife issues on private property to be the responsibility of the property owner.

Q: Do I have to take time off from work to have my home serviced?

A: Hopefully not! We do our best to accommodate the needs of our clients' schedules.

Q: Can you help me with termites, ants, or rats?

A: No. We specialize exclusively in wildlife removal. You should call your local exterminator for help with bugs or small rodents. Our ability to deliver expert service comes from our commitment to specialized wildlife solutions.
